Date: April 2nd 2026
For Immediate Release:
Today, I am announcing my candidacy for Mayor of Bella Vista.
My decision to run is grounded in both my experience serving on the Bella Vista City Council and my deep commitment to this community. During my tenure, I have observed recurring challenges that point to deficiencies in leadership and accountability. Bella Vista deserves a higher standard of governance.
I bring more than twenty years of public service experience, including executive leadership roles, which have prepared me to lead with integrity, discipline, and transparency. In a city where approximately 76 percent of the budget is allocated to emergency services, experienced leadership is not optional — it is essential.
As Mayor, I will prioritize fiscal responsibility by focusing on efficient use of taxpayer dollars, rather than seeking new ways to increase the financial burden on residents. I am committed to protecting individual rights and ensuring that government processes remain fair, reasonable, and accessible.
My administration will be guided by three core principles: Transparency, Accessibility, and Accountability.
Key priorities will include:
- Reforming the permitting process to better serve residents and reduce unnecessary delays.
- Implementing a more responsive and efficient street maintenance and repair program.
- Promoting responsible, sustainable growth that preserves Bella Vista’s character.
- Supporting and strengthening small businesses as vital contributors to the local economy.
- Advocating for first responders and working to improve the city’s ISO rating.
My commitment to public safety is both professional and personal. As one of only three dual-accredited Chief Fire and EMS Officers in the State of Arkansas, I understand the critical importance of preparedness, leadership, and service. I will bring that same level of dedication to the Office of Mayor.
Bella Vista stands at an important moment. With the right leadership, we can strengthen accountability, improve services, and ensure a more effective and responsive local government. I am running to bring disciplined, servant-oriented leadership back to City Hall. - “Government should be helpful, not a headache.”
